Get outta there, cat!
One of my biggest fears in life is washing one of the cats in the washing machine. I've been known to interrupt the spin cycle to check for a drenched cat among soggy clothes, and often count all the cats after starting a load to make sure all three are safely outside the washer. 
Luckily for both of us, Alvin decided that he does NOT like being in the washing machine and quickly jumped right out!
